I just finished building an all stainless Ruger #1, chambered for my 22X30-30 cartridge. Stock set is the original laminated set that comes on the Ruger stainless guns...

My cartridge is based on a maximized and full length 30-30 case with a .250" case neck length...

Reloading dies and 200 pieces of formed brass goes with the gun...

Preliminary test show that Sierra's 40 gr. Hollow Point will easily do 4,000 fps...

Custom barrel is a 27" Hart barrel plus one of my spiral ported muzzle brakes for an overall length of 28 1/2". Twist rate is 1-14"...

Trigger pull weight is 36 ounces...

I put a 2 piece Weaver style scope base on this rig, and it wears a Vortex Viper 6.5X-20X-50mm scope in Burris 30 mm Signature Zee rings...
