Have a PacNor 3 groove in 17AH; definitely no complaints.

17 Barrels
First 17 barrel was a Lilja. Last season I went with a Pac Nor mostly because of the price. Lilja was going to be 650.00 plus. Got the Pac Nor for nearly 200.00 less from Hirsch Precision who imports Pac Nor.

Also here in Canada. Couple friends went shilen (Jerry Teo of mystic precision imports)this year and my hunting buddy went pacnor from hirsch precision. I’m seriously considering going Lothar Walther for my .17-204. Gordon Whitman of bluemountiansports in nb can take those in.
Craige Douglas in Saskatoon has chambered a few 17-204’s for us. Last edited by Displayed Name; 01-13-2018 at 02:28 PM. |

Craige Douglas of AC Douglas Gunsmithing is in Saskatoon. He has been doing all my work for about 15 years.

Exchange, import fees that get passed on to the customer, shipping, and federal and possibly provincial tax. Difference between being in the States and Canada.

And then once we get barrels there is the joy of sourcing bullets or having been greedy/smart enough to hoard a bunch of the good stuff.

Yep got another quote of $495 for a Pacnor blank or $695 for a pre chambered plus install.

Brain fart yes saskatoon. Memory is rewriting on old tape. Craige was great and easy to work with.

Guess I got a Shilen getting installed. Was in stock so don’t have to wait 3-6 months. Just three months for the install.
