Usually 2:00-3:00; I can get more work done without the phone ringing off the hook

The plan is for a short 15-17g and a short 20g with a slightly wide tip flat nose soft point style and a short 20g OT.

Still working out the details on how I want them to shoot.

Oh, and the heavy thick jacket bullets are still a work in progress, waiting on dies for those jackets now.

Change of plan! I scraped the Ruger #1 project and have a 17 Squirrel in route with a 1-10 twist. Not my first choice would rather have a 1-9 but price was right.

CZ 527 Douglas barrel. Should be here next week. It does say BRNO on the action so I will have to do a bit of research not familiar with it.

Default BRNO aka CZ

They're the same, BRNO's name changed to CZ. I have an early BRNO 527 223 and it's the same as the newer CZ version except it doesn't have all those ugly roll marks on the receiver. Now if it's one of the ZKW 465's re-barreled into a 17SQ then that's a pretty big score. Those are usually better off in original configure as they have a big collector value. Probably a better chance that a BRNO 527 Hornet has been re-barreled.

Chuck Yes it is a 527 re barreled to the 17 Squirrel. Would the early BRNO's be more or less in value than the CZ or no difference.

Default 1 in 12

What are you going to do with that Ole scraggly 1 in 12" slow twist .172" caliber barrel?

2 thumbs up on that 17 Squirrel on a 527.
