I heard hat Todd Kindler talked to Cooper about doing a limited run of 17 & 22 Squirrel rifles and that it was just that, a limited run. I got my hands on a Cooper 22 Squirrel too and it is becoming my favorite gun to shoot not as fast as the 17 Squirrel but easier to make the brass and huge bullet selection to try different things and very very quiet.

I once heard that the .17 Squirrel was considered by some of the top guys at Cooper as the most dangerous round they chambered a rifle for. Being such a small case the forgiveness factor isn't much at all was the reason they felt that way was what I was told. A careful and knowledgeable reloader shouldn't have any problems because of that though.
I agree FC, it looks like a hoot !

Great looking rifles guys, I'm jealous .

Well made it out to the range and both shot excellent. The CZ was a bit more accurate but I will have to give the Cooper a bit more of a chance with some load development. Just an update.
