Have not heard anything like that, and I wonder why, when news reports have said they are building another plant in the USA. Can not remember where that is, someone will chime in.

Shockingly it is true and what is even more surprising two of what I would have thought are the most popular models in the CZ 527 line up the Varmint and American have been dropped for 2021.

There is no model 527 chambered in 204 Ruger which was one of the best most accurate 527's I've owned and the only model the chamber in 17 Hornet is a thumbhole stock model with what looks like their varmint contour and length barrel and it comes threaded but not in a popular American thread pitch but rather a metric M15x1 thread so if you get one and want to you a suppressor on it you'll need to get an adapter to make it fit.

Would love to know where this information is coming from, thanks.

CZ UB doesn't show the American and Varmint but CZ USA does, I'm guessing that is because they target differing markets, same with the threading for suppressors, no one in Europe or Asia uses the same threads we do here in the States.

Just my take on the two differing sites.

New plant is supposed to be built in Arkansas.

I hope you are 100% correct and it's just a misunderstanding and we jumped the gun, pun intended, because I really like the little Varmint model 527's and short of rimfires they are the only off the shelf factory guns I own.

I sent a email to CZ asking about this rumor floating around. Will see what they come back with, if any answer.
Would like to know the fact/truth and not keep seeing rumor with no evidence backing it up.

I have no evidence besides a discussion on another large gun forum.
