Default GunsAmerica and the .17 WSM & B-Mag...

Although they only shoot the 25 grain load, still a nice article...

My .02: Ballistic charts don't prove anything. From the initial reports I've seen, the accuracy on this caliber is nowhere close to the 17 HMR or even the 17HM2. Pump up articles are probably being done with sorted ammo, not something the average hunter has the time or inclination to do & yes, that thing is hideous looking.

Default GunsAmerica and the 17 WSM

I for one will stick to reloading the 17 AH, 17 HH or 17VHA.. I guess for those that do not reload they are just stuck with this new one, or stay with the older 17 M2 or 17 HMR.. Better off, I believe. Bill K

I had this long rant but decided to keep it to myself. However, if anyone believes the magazine writers past or current, I have this bridge for sale...
Will be keeping my great 17HMR, the proven winner chambered by another proven winner, CZ!

+1 on this post. I have long since given any credence to what ANY writer says in ANY magazine, including the NRA rags. They don't write unbiased reviews, the pander to the advertisers. Broad brush? If a manufacturer gives you a gun to try, would you badmouth it? If you did, you'd be out of the review business & looking for another job.
