Good lookers, indeed. And being chambered in 222 Remington, they will probably shoot bug hole size groups.

Very nice...............

When ya start load development on those beauties please share the data and results. I bought a CZ Varmint, cut down the barrel, bedded it into a new H.S. stock and have yet to get serious about loading it.
It's embarrassing to post this with those two but I expect it'll shoot well and I won't feel near as bad with it banging around out of a pickup truck window out in a pasture as I would with those lovely rifles you have.

I still can't believe that as much as I've shot and the age that I am I've never dropped a hammer on a Triple Duce till I shot the first discovery load on that CZ.
Lovely rifles there My Man, congrats!!!

Default ? on the Dakota

I have a couple old Sako L46 and L461's in 222. They shoot remarkably well
for 60 year old rifles and like the 40 grain Sierra BlitzKings.
You don't often see a Dakota Predator/Varminter in the classic style with checkering. I have one of those as well in the Deluxe version. My favorite rifle actually, butter smooth action, drop dead gorgeous wood, and stupid accurate.
Since the Dakota's are stainless steel, both action and barrel, what coating has been applied to yours?

Hemi, I had Dakota Cerakote the barreled action, as well as install a Jewell trigger. When I got the rifle, I had a Canadian stockmaker checker the stock with wraparound patterns. The wood is not exceptional--Dakota rate it as AA Claro--but certainly nice enough to deserve checkering!
