Default End of CZ 527 Line

No mention of any Hornet offerings. Three receiver sizes, one called a Mini.

Interesting, but I do hope they add some additional cartridges to the line up.

If Rem "700 scope bases" fit it, then we have another Rem SA size action. The small Mauser style action will be lost.

It comes, if I read right, with a action the takes Rem base, and one that come for use of Weaver. So it appears there are too options. Which seems good.
Either base sets are good and easy to find one's that fit.

I read through it carefully, and it looked like the action with the 'Weaver Rail' is aluminum, like an AR, and hopefully is a Picatinney rail not a 'Weaver'. The action that uses the Remington mounts is steel. Looks like there is an adjustable trigger, but no set trigger any more. All of it aimed at reduced manufacturing costs and commonality of parts, making it a more modular rifle. I hope the barrel quality is at least as good as the current ones.

You are correct Tinman, so the information says in the article/notice.
And I also hope that the barrels quality is as good or better than prior.
Sure glad, however, that I have a couple of the previous one's, as I like the feel and shooting quality of the 527.

This is not necessarily true. The Howa Mini uses r700 bases, and it is much smaller than a r700.

For some reason, and often without cause or proper knowledge, someone just has to slam Remington or Savage.

This new CZ will work just fine, for those that appreciate them.
