I am "guessing" that LilGun likes a straight wall, not the sharp K shoulder. Not idea why. 13.0 is right at the bottom of the neck in the Remington brass. It is all I have ever used in my Savage 40. I also use thin small pistol primers, and they still look good.

Shoulder angle could very well be the reason.
In the .218Bee Ruger #1, I got some absolutely amazing ballistics with bullets right up to 55gr., all shooting well under an inch. The 40 to 50gr. shot under 1/2" & at ridiculous speeds for the size of the case. That rifle is still going strong using the same loads by a close friend of mine. It's his favourite "shooting" rifle.

Years ago, Mic McPherson developed the SCM series of cartridges with rounded shoulder and neck radii, similar to a Weatherby, but round on both ends. As I recall, his theory was that the venturi and nozzle effects of those shoulders gave the rounds much higher velocities at the same powder capacities. I think the articles were back in Precision Shooting back in the day.
