You are right about the Cerberus thing - i was told by a source(reliable) that he was going to buy Remington personally!
It was only USD$318M at the time - i was also told how much his annual income was - buying Remington would have been less than two years income

He is a gun nut. There was an interview with the guy in American Rifleman a few months ago. I don't remember his name, but he was a hunter when he was young, then stopped when he went to college, then eventually got back into it. He's now a serious big game hunter. I think he's a shotgunner,too, but I'm going on memory here.

I am very suprised that Cerberus could afford to purchase anything with them loosing their tails on Chrysler. It will be interesting to see how many of the wildcats will disappear.

Oh but don't forget the bailout? Who knows how much of that money really went to the bailout no one is keeping track?
