Default Off Topic! But all my friends hang here so for those inclined to, a prayer request.

As some of you who know us might be be aware, our daughter has suffered for many years with a late onset mental illness, she was 36. She passed away last night of natural causes and as you might well imagine Nancy is completely devastated, she and Heather were on the phone to each other often 5 or 6 times a day.
Heather has been made whole again in my way of seeing things and is no longer suffering thanks to God but any prayers you might send Nancy's way would truly be appreciated by me. She is honestly as nice as she appears and she's pretty fragile right now. Thanks.
Probably be MIA for a few days.
Sorry if this is inappropriate for the site.
Doug

Default There is nothing worse than having a child die.

Five years ago, my daughter was 42. I know that while you've asked for prayers for Nancy, and that she is really fragile right now, so are you. I can tell you that the pain gets a little less every day, but never goes away. Just writing this, tears have come to my eyes, for you, for Nancy, and for me.

Every night, as I say prayers with my two little ones (they are asleep, as I don't think my almost teen-agers would quite like it if they knew that I came in and said prayers and kissed them good night), I say a prayer as well for my older boys and daughter. Tonight, and for a while, I will include you, Doug, Nancy and your daughter. I wish you had included her name.

God Bless, and give you comfort.

Alex

I am so sorry for your loss.

Prayers sent for you and your wife.

Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

The peace of God that passeth all understanding I pray will come over you and your wife because I know that none of us can understand earthly tragedies.

God Bless You and your Wife during this tragedy.
