That's a nice looking piece there. I have a bunch of the fiocchi 4.6 rounds and I've been planning on building something to feed them to. I have a couloir of jap rifles I need to finish first though. I'm getting myself into the habit of starting too many projects at a time lately!

I'm going to look up the action you spoke of and see what the damage will be to my wallet

Great job Bowfisher. I like the heavy stock to help control the recoil. A little guy like you might get affected otherwise. That is a perfect setup for the PDs.

Does the Pierce actions have the same thread pitch as a standard 700? I know they have the 700 footprint. I'm looking for another action and was looking at a Stiller/Shilen or ???

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen!

It's a Bobby Hart stock , comes with aluminum bedding block. I got it used from Bobtails, IIRC. I have the same design on my 17VHA and liked it so kept with what worked.

I have a supplier for the LEJ cases. Stockpiled quite a few, won't be running out anytime soon....

Default V block

I'm not familiar with the Pierce action. Does it have a trigger hanger and if so did the v-block need modified to accept it ?

Starting a project for a Stolle Atlas and looking at stock options.

Thanks

You can look up the details here at:

http://pierceengineeringltd.com/cate.../pierce-action

They are a " 700 Clone" take a jewel BR trigger just like a 700 does.
