I have a bunch of patents....But this one is a favorite that just was granted.

It is the Design Patent that goes along with the Utility one. This is just protecting the "LOOK" of the structure.

The name of the fireplace is "Caldera Fire" and stands almost 6 feet tall.

It beat out the proposed Catalytic Standard of 2.0 grams/hour by posting test results of 1.77 grams/hour (without a catalyst!).

In 50 hours of durability testing, it ran almost 100% efficient.

It is designed to burn the High-sap content of the beetle-kill pine...the predominate fuel of the West, and so difficult for current EPA Listed stoves to burn efficiently.

The upper region is an oven heat-exchanger/cooker.

Not quite ready to put it on the market, yet. A lot goes in to developing a new product for market...this is just one successful hump!

Just wanted to share some of what I have been working on for last 18 months.

Bill

U S Patent D803,999

Great! Congratulations on the new patent. It will be interesting to see the Utility Patent to see how the internals work.

Just one of the up hill struggles you’ve finally triumphed over, Bill.
Congratulations.
Ken.
PS. Had to google Caldera for a meaning.

I still have interest in placing one in my showroom. (hearth shop)
Boise needs another good option for wood burning.

Great Bill. Now for a photo, so we can really see what the design looks like. Might be something I would add too the old cabin, for winter heat and all. Bill K

Awesome, Sir! I too would enjoy seeing an actual picture if you have one to share. Maybe we will see you on television again in the future...

Wow! Very impressive innovation Bill; especially if you are getting those kind of emission results w/o a catalyst. That indicates very complete combustion in the right burning environment (non-reducing I assume).

Congrats! I really enjoy sucess stories like this. Thanks for sharing!
