Stolen Brass

I belong to a fairly small shooting club with mostly trap and skeet shooter but 45-50 of us regulars shoot rifle/handgun in a defined area away from the shot gunners. Every one knows everyone else except for a fair number of new members who have started to show up and pay the small range fee for non members.

I was shooting my Contender 22 Remington Jet and had to take a bathroom break. I finished my shooting and after I went home and proceeded to put everything away out of my range bag, I noticed that a sealed bag of a 100 quantity of 22 Rem Rem Jet pieces of new R-P brass was missing.

I was not only surprised but also mystified as to why someone would do that. So, don't assume anything. Opportunity had presented itself and I had given the invitation for an impulse theft. Saddened is the word.

Now, I am looking for replacement brass. Does anyone have 100 (or more) pieces of new R-P 22 Remington Jet brass they would like to sell? I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance

Keep a eye open on Ebay or Amazon, probably will come up for sale, as it is a type of brass that is not really seen to often. Yes, sad that someone would steal, like that, from your small local range.

I sold my own Contender Jet barrel last month. I don't anticipate buying another. I do have new Remington brass. As stated, this stuff is hens teeth.
While I'm not a price gouger, I won't just give this away. I have 200 rounds, new and unfired. I can send a pic or two to your email address. I may be able to post one here, as well. Send me a PM.

Unfortunately, anti-gun eBay & Amazon don't allow the sale of brass or components.

I got some from Graf's a while back, it was PPU though, I think it's good brass.

We had a storm roll thru here yesterday but the lights and cable TV stayed on. The internet did not. I don't know if you got my PM on the 22 Rem Jet brass so I'll send again. My apologies if this is a repeat. What kind of price are you looking at for your 200 pieces?

I do know that Graf's offered it, but I have no experience with PPU other than 6 boxes of 32 Long's I picked up at a gun show somewhere some years ago. Seems to work OK. What are you thinking for a price? Thanks, Bob
