Default Cooper test.

Does anyone have proof that Cooper test cards are shot at 40 something yards?
Asking because a guy over here selling one says he phoned Cooper and they told him it was shot at 100 yards. No distance is shown on his test card and the group is 1/4".
Tia,Ken.

I have heard, but don't know as a fact, that Cooper was able to stretch their test-range out a bit when they moved to their new facility. I think you should call them and then share the straight scoop with us, here.

They shot at 43 yards for a long time, now I understand they are doing it at 50 yards. Call and see what they say, right from the horse's mouth Bill K

I believe it was 47 yards at their old site. I know it was an odd distance but, it was all they had room for. The distance, then and now, is irrelevant to me. What I care about is their accuracy guarantee, and it is quite good.

Ramos,
I'd love to speak with them, but, with both ears well shot out it make telephone talking extremely difficult.
Thanks,Ken.

For some people, isn't it just faster and simpler to make an assumption, then hold to it as fact?

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.

Default Cooper Test

Also, it really does not matter how or where they test. You have to test, your rifle with your loads and work up what works for you, in your area, altitude, temp, etc. That is part of the fun. Bill K

Bill,
A guy over here is advertising his rifle for sale and saying it comes with a test card shot at 100 yds, but there is nothing on the card to authenticate it.
Really just seeing if anyone knew whether Cooper do indeed test at 100 yds now.
Regards,Ken.

I can sympathize with that, hearing loss is no fun at all!
