Default Morning at the range

I recently came across a Savage VLP single shot in 204R, I took it to the range this morning to get it on paper, and it looks like it has potential. On the bench next to me was another old timer shooting a 6.5 JAP full military with open sites, at 50 yards he was doing really well. When we took a break from shooting a groundhog came out at about 125 yards down range, he put one right through that hog, not bad for an old gun and old eyes.
