groundhogs in the tall grass
Finally got to get back out to do some hog hunting and of course with my luck all the fields are about knee high or higher.
Since my brother was home for a couple of weeks we decided to try anyway so we set up on the edge of the alfalfa field and soybean field that looked the lowest. We really didn't have to wait to long before we saw heads popping up in the field but they would pop up for a second then disappear then pop up 30ft away it made for some fun shooting we did manage to get a few with the 20br which has seen considerably more action than all my other varmint rifles put together this year. This gun is a lazer its up to around 20 hogs without a miss these were taken at about 300 to 350 yards |

Ouch!
Easy,,, you know how sensative I am. Oh,,, and just so ya know. I just googled "Death in the Long Grass" to make sure that Capstick was indeed the author. Where my memorie's concerned, I really am under gunned any more.

I've noticed of late that you are not alone in the under gunned memories. |
