Default CZ 17HH Varmint base/rings question

Do the CZ rings come with the CZ Varmint 17AH. What other bases are available? What do you use?

No rings. Only Americans come with for some reason. I recall someone had issues with their American rings. They were not high enough, bolt hit the scope? Need high CZ rings or Calhoon fixes bolt??? I think Weaver makes a base to fit so you can use Weaver rings?

Default Burris....

Burris makes a nice looking set however I have not used them personally. Friend I purchased my CZ Varmint from had them on the rifle and said they worked fine. Forgot what scope he had mounted.
I was about to order a set and then found the 3rd pair of CZ rings I had from a 7.62x39 American I had sold. They work fine, got CZ rings on all 3 CZ 527s in the house.

I have had several different scopes on mine and the regular CZ rings have always done the trick without changing anything. Kenny

These are Burris medium 1 inch matte CZ 527 rings with a Weaver Grand Slam 6X20X40 scope. Bolt works fine and it all fits me to a tee , reasonably priced as well.

I have used CZ rings if they came withe the rifle (Americans), I think they are clunky and way expensive compared to other rings if you buy them after the fact. I also dislike the 4 screws per ring top. Much prefer the Burris ring mounts.

Default CZ Weaver mount

I believe CZ offers a weaver style mount, a friend just got one for his 550 project. Vinnie

550 uses 16mm dovetails, 527 uses 13mm. Neither is a Weaver style.

In my humble opinion BKL Technologies (http://www.bkltech.com/) makes the most versatile ring mounts for the CZ542/543 rimfires, but don’t know if they make them for the centerfire CZ 527. If that fails then I would check out amazon.com. http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...cope+rings&tag

Hope this helps...
