I was born in Wyoming and both my wife and I have pioneer roots in the Little Snake River Valley. I started thinking about returning while my oldest son was going to the U. of WY 20 years ago so this is a coming home but to a different part of the state.

This Log Splitter has an eight horse gas engine and a 27 ton hydraulic wedge! I have split enough wood the old fashion way but must admit that I did buy a brand new small wedge for special needs. LOL

Lowell:

Hope that log splitter is on the level ground so you don't have to
pick up the hunks to put 'em in position.

Whoever invented them like that needs to be the one to load 'em up.

Rancher I spent 5 school summers with told me: "That's George Washington's ax, only had about ten new heads and 30 new handles but that was George's ax!"

It didn't fit me very well so he bought me a brand new double bitted that did.

Wish you the best and don't over do that wood work.

We spent 50 years in Washington State. The last 21 on the West side near Shelton that is 25 miles NW of Olympia, the side that I said I would never live in when I left Fort Lewis in 1968. We are so very happy to be under wider skies and have horizons that we can see.

I worked in Redmond WA for 36 years. MicroSoft made the town go nuts. Moved to N.E. CO. in 2008. Sure don't miss the traffic or taxes.

Hi Lowell,

Glad to hear you arrived and are doing well, I was wondering about you the other day.

Keep us posted on your new experiences. You and the others are certainly not missing out on anything here in W. WA.

Neil
