The ARVNs used a lot of .38 specials. I traded a couple "C" rations cases for a couple a 50 cal cans of 38 Spl ammo.

I am surprised some on hasn't mentioned https://www.vintagegunscopes.com/ for old scopes.
Been a while since I did business with them. They seemed like a decent operation at the time. Picked up a Weaver 6X AO and put it on my 700 VLS and killed coyotes with it.
