Just held my first one. Unwrapped and degreased it...they went HEAVY on cosmoline, or whatever it was. Initial impression...yuck. From afar, the stock looks nice, but no figure in the wood, rough edges, kinda blocky. It seemed too big for the action. I'd contournit with a belt sander if it were mine. I did peer down the tube amd it did look shiny. Not as shiny as a custom barrel. Didn't notice anything odd, or tooling marks. Trigger was decent, not heavy but creepy. Bolt seemed tiny, no lugs? Can't imaginenitnwould holdnupnto pressures?
Think I'll pass. Got a M7 action in 223 bf that will do nicely. |

For the price I was thinking it might be rough around the edges but the rough barrel had me concerned.
Without seeing one I'm not overly concerned about the looks or even the cheap lockup as long as it's safe to shoot and it sure seems odd a manufacture would be begging for a lawsuit. For me this would be like a coon gun, a 22 mag type of gun. A cheap shooting plunker with the youth. You didn't happen to notice if the SN was >5k?
