Default Looking for, want to buy...

Hi All,

I am looking for a .17HRM reamer, "used but not abused". If you have one that you would sell or loan, please let me know.

Thanks,
Marcos (elalto)

Hey More Power,

I have a couple of Stevens model 44 single shot rifles that are beyond being collector quality. Both have very bad bores & I want to put .17 cal liners in them for my two grandsons. I think they would enjoy them for a long time.

I thought about doing this to my Savage model 74 but would chamber pressure be an issue I have a few 17 reamers but no 17 hmr i'd love to use one of my
reamers on it but don't think it will handle the pressure 17/223, 17 Ackley Bee and 17 Mach IV

If the 74 is the same frame as the Favorite then I would not go with anything above the 17 HM2. I have a Winchester low wall in 17 Ackely Hornet, shoots real well and holds pressure no problem. I would not go over the 17HMR in any Stevens single shot except the 441/2.

I agree with sticking to HM2 max. My HMR reamer is the match reamer with tighter than factory specs so I think that really could cause problems in that rifle.
