IIRC Dick's did this with handguns some years ago now. Way before then I had a manager try to screw me on a deal over a 28 ga O/U. Told him I wanted it during a lunch break. When I came back after work the price was $100 higher! I haven't been there in over 10 years & have no reason to patronize any business that actively tries to destroy my Civil Rights in the name of PC!
Let them go the way of the dodo bird. |

I wonder how many more businesses will cave in to a massive herd of junior Snowflakes.
We don't have cable, so we're saddled with network news. I'm so sick and tired of slanted reporting on this gun issue, and even more sick and tired of the incessant nitpicking at every solitary move Trump makes. So thankful for Rush and other good talk show hosts that can keep us on top of the truth these days. There's more than a little talk out there about confiscating AR-15s and the like. Scary! I don't think American gun owners are going to stand for that. |

Wow! And I thought MY memory was bad? Bet even I can remember not to patronize Dick's in the future however. They should be everyone's last choice, just based on their extremely poor past bad business practices.

And we all need to send letters, calls and e-mails to our Senators, Representatives and other State and local officials to our concerns. There are swing votes in the mid-term elections that need to be on our side.

I don't know, gotta big laugh outta me .
As to various sporting goods stores and such, you'd think they would have learned the Jim Zumbo lesson. Dicks is a bad memory and I don't like Walmart anyway. As to forced confiscation, even on my most cynical days I can't see that happening but it's happened in other Socialist country's and that is where the secular progressives wanna take us as if you guys weren't here through President Potato Heads reign of terror as well . Still praying for those kids, families and survivors back there and this Great Country as well.

I could never stand Dick's anyway and already go out of my way not to shop there.

I'm wondering
If say, some 18 or 19 year old takes the same tactic as the gay couple that had a bakery refuse to bake them a cake and sues on the basis of discrimination, age discrimination in this case, what do you think the outcome would be?
