Default Interesting wildcat

Here's an interesting .243 wildcat called the 6MM Jet that I'm currently working with. It's the 307W case necked to .243. The 307W is the 308W but with a .506 diameter rim like the 30-30 case. After f-forming, it basically ends up being a .065 short 243W Ackley Improved.

Interesting Al... How the case capacity compared to .243 Ackley?

Default Nice looking case Al....

Will be interesting to see how she wrings out.I bet velocities will be close to the 243 Ackley case because of better efficiency?

Might be hard to tell, Matt. It's a Browning B78 so I'll likely not lean on it as hard as a good bolt gun. -Al

Not sure ,but I think that the rimmed .307 is a lower psi round than the .308 due to the rimed brass. it should be a fun gun. Those are sweet rifles.
