Who offers the 17 mach 2?
The only 17 mach 2 rifle I can find is made by Savage. Anyone else offer one?
Thanks, Glenn |

Whittakers in Kentucky gets limited runs of CZs occasionally.
Also you can get one from Cooper and some other high end makers. You could rebarrel a 22 also. Green mountain makes good affordable barrels especially for Rugers Dave Last edited by fiddlefadel; 11-01-2013 at 03:35 PM. |

17m2
I'm certain Steve B. will chime in here, but Anschutz also offers the 17M2 chambering. I believe also that the Sako Quad has a 17M2 barrel available.

CZ
I can say my CZ 17M2 is a great shooting little rifle I killed about 50 groundhogs with it and a few tree rats very accurate with all brands of ammo Eley may shoot the best but not by much

It's truly a shame the mach II is over shadowed by the 17 HMR! The mach II does just about the same performance at half the cost for ammo! We ran into the same problem trying to find a new 17 mach II! We gave up and had a barrel built for a contender. Good luck and enjoy whatever you get. I can now say my wife and I are hooked on it for life!

I'm not going to lie the little Ruger I built its one of the most accurate rifles I own. As for companies still offering, Cz still makes one, so does Cooper. Now there are good ones out there to be had, look at the Kimber K17 or the K22 both are to of the line rifles. Gun broker has a few right now, but other than that a new CZ is your best offer for one under $500. Adam |

My ears were burning!! I heard the echo of "Mach 2" and I stopped by.
Unfortunately Anschutz dropped the 17 Mach 2 from their current line, and even with a heated argument where pork chop bones were flung at the dinner table and copious amounts of adult beverages were consumed, I failed in getting them to reconsider. The best thing to do is sniff around on Gun Broker and watch for a while. Some people are unloading them because ammo is hard to find. I think there is a 1502 for sale there now. I agree with others, just rebarrel an existing 22 into one and get the rifle you want versus settling for something else. I don't know why, but I think an old Mossberg 144 in Mach 2 would be sort of interesting... s. www.rrdvegas.com |

This is a slightly reworked 1702
Another 1702 And a down-right unfriendly 1702 http://www.rrdvegas.com/17-mach-ii.html http://www.rrdvegas.com/improving-the-17-mach-ii.html Last edited by steve b.; 10-31-2013 at 09:20 PM. |

What's the word on future ammo availability? I've heard internet chatter about discontinued ammo? Can't reload them so we need a steady.stream of ammo
