Default Cleaning rods

I find myself in the market for some new cleaning rods, namely 17 and 20 cal.

These are for rifles so I would want something around 38" - 44", what do people recommend for these calibers and where is the best place to get them?.........Kiwi

My vote is for Pro Shot as well. I wouldn't steer you from Dewey, but I feel that the Pro Shot rods are burnished a bit smoother and the thinner, slightly smoother operating handles clear stocks better.

Leopold Scopes, Forester reloading equipment and Victorianox knives.

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.

Default Look @ Tipton!!

Check out the Tipton carbon fiber rods. They make ones specific to 20cal as well as 17 cal. Very pleased with them.

Pro shot stainless here as well... I don't think you can go wrong with any of the others.

I've got a pair of Dewey's that I've had for close to 20 years, and I could
Don't begin to guess how many trips down and back they have made, and the coating it still good. I did replace the handles, Dewey sold me the pair at a very reasonable price. I would not shy away from them either, I just like the stainless now days.

Default cleaning rods

If it were me, I'd buy an Ivy Cleaning Rod. http://www.ivyrods.com/CleaningRODS.htm I have one for my .284 Winchester. I have used it for almost a year now and no bends or bows. I can't say enough about them and great people to deal with.

Kiwi:
Go with Ivy rods, he builds really nice ones in stainless.
I got one for the .17's, am tickled with it.
Not cheap, but, you're not either so you'll be happy with 'em.
