Interesting, thanks for the feedback. Seems to me that one big advantage with the SS pins is that a fellow would be done purchasing media, forever. I like stuff that lasts forever.

I dry the pins and the cases in the oven at 200 degrees. I then store the pins, after cooling in a zip lock. They only downside is having to wait until you have enough cases to make the process worth the, JMHO

Used to send my big batches of brass to a guy in Wash. that used #9 steel shot, some Dawn and ran a few thousand of the same size at a time in a small cement mixer wet. I've never seen brass so polished as what these came back like. His makes the prettiest factory ammo look sick.

I bought and swapped a few large flat rate boxes with him too. Same deal. Only complaint I ever had was he don't size them at all and that ruins the fine polish running them thru the sizer die. Sure good for the die, lots better than running dirty cases thru one. I've lost track of who he was over the years.
