22 hornet or 22 k hornet?

Have more than one standard and K hornets. Using AA1680 in K hornet, my rounds are 150 FPS slower or more than the standard hornets using Lil Gun.

I'd for sure go with standard hornet, neck sized only in Lee Collet Neck sizer, CCI 500 primers, R-P Brass, and 13.5-14.0gr Lil Gun for 3100 FPS with a 40 grain bullet.

Accuracy is same, brass life is same, velocity is faster using Lil Gun and no brass fireforming to mess with.




Or, just get a .19 Calhoon Hornet..........my favorite going 3575 FPS with 28gr DBHP and 3350 with 32gr Sierra BK using AA1680
