Default Quality of 22-250 Brass

Have you found any brand better quality for reloading?
Thanks!
Jim

I have had no issues with either Remington or Winchester over all these years, reloading in my 22-250.

Same here.
That reminds me, I need another .22-250 - sold the last one - hated it, have a bunch of loaded ammo now, and
no gun to shoot it in.

I use Lapua brass as I scored a deal on some brass years ago.

In general. I like Winchester or Remington over Federal brass. For ARs, I like LC or IMI also. Don't have a 22-250, jumped right up to a Swift instead.

RP,WW,Frontier was all good. Just ridded myself of ALL my brass and hand loads this past weekend. Need to spin off the factory barrel as I ordered a new 22BR to take its place :-).
Another Preferred Barrels prefit, 3 groove 1-12” twist 27”, straight no taper. I like heavy and see me hits/misses. Prairie dog night mare with 40-50 grain bullets, aim, squeeze, splat with that satisfying report:-)

Winchester and Remington are pretty much all I have used in all my cartridges for years.

It will all "work" but when it comes to quality Lapua stands heads and shoulders above the rest. It is more uniform and consistent in every way not to mention it's more durable and will last longer. It may cost more initially but Lapua brass pays for itself in the long run.

Default Get some Lapua

I bought a bunch of Winchester 22-250 back before Lapua 22-250 was available
it served me well but once Lapua became available I had to get some.
Can not wait to try it in the 40-XB
Like B23 said Lapua will last for many many reloads and is superior in every way,
God forbid they stop offering it like the 221FB stuff you better get it while you can.I took for granted that once Lapua came out with something it would be around forever. The 22-250 is obviously more popular than the Fireball but you never know
