This is an extremely nice rifle at a very, very good price with the scope and mounts included.

I hope that the OP doesn't minds me offering some additional information on the salt wood issue for a prospective buyer who may not be familiar it.

I own two of these rifles; one chambered in 243 Winchester and one chambered in 220-250 Remington. Both are mid to late 1970's vintage post salt guns. Still, I looked at them very closely before I bought either one of them. Salt damage to the metal below the stock line is very obvious if the rifle is removed from the stock.

Here are a couple of links concerning Browning's issue with salt wood stocks:

https://shotgunreport.com/2013/05/22...ood-explained/

https://www.thehighroad.org/index.ph...-stock.632568/

This is perhaps the best summary of the issue in terms of critical years that I have seen over the past 40 years:

Referencing pages 245-7 from "The Browning Superposed"

"In part... the process was sold to Browning in 1965 from Morton Salt... affecting 90% of all Browning Firearms 1967-9... continued until 1972 in much smaller numbers... in 1972 they eventually burned the remaining blanks... as a general rule higher grades more likely to be affected than grade 1s... butts more than forearms... recommended to check all firearms from 1966-72... originally discovered on the T-Bolt rifles, eventually found on all including Mausers and Hi-Power pistols... warranted to original owners with registered warranty cards - secondary owners directed to other repair sources."
