Default BRUNO's Phoenix for a rifle build ?

Wondering if anyone has ever had a rifle build completed at BRUNO's
Or, maybe you know of someone who did ?
Were they price competitive, efficient and best quality ?

Been there several times over the years, when visiting Phoenix, but never had a rifle built there. They had a lot of BR rigs, stocks and other supplies, including powder and primers. They stocked a lot of Sinclair International shooting products before the sale to Brownell's.

I have a couple of benchrest rifles built by Lester Bruno. One is a 6mmBR and the other is a 6PPC. Both of them shoot fantastic and they ended up in my hands at a very good price for a BR rifle. The 6PPC was a rifle he was trying to sell at the Supershoot that he brought back to AZ and sold at a big discount. The 6BR was partially completed, and I was able to customer order the barrel, caliber and specify the reamer used. The quality on both are top notch.

I called a couple years ago asking him to build me a 20 VarTarg on a BAT action and the prices was way more expensive than the two previous purchases. I ended up buying all the components myself and having it chambered at a local gunsmith. Probably save about $800 by doing that, but I do think Lester might have built me a more accurate rifle.
