Default Dick Saunders Book

I never meet or talked to Mr. Saunders but from the posts on his passing I sure wish that I had. Sounds like we lost a friend to shooters everywhere.
If anyone knows where I could buy a copy of his 17 Shooters book I would appreciate the information.
Regards,

Question

I'm going to try and get this scanned into a .pdf so that I don't have to worry about losing it.

I have to check and see if it copyrighted although I believe it is.
With that I don't know what the law says on an out of production manual.

If anyone has any experience and can confirm it is legal, I could probably get a copy out.

Anyone have any thoughts on doing that? I personally have no experience in something like an out of publication manual.

Great guy, good manual. I gave my copy to a forum member some time back. Does anyone know if a family member may offer these?

If anyone is still looking for a copy of "17 Caliber Shooting" by Dick Saunders, I was able to scan a copy to .pdf and post in on another forum. It is not a competing small caliber forum so hopefully OK to link here.

It is posted in the Members Only section so you will have to join the forum if you want to view the manual. Its also rather large, like almost 65MB so have some patience with downloading.

I would be real careful guys copying Saunders book. By the mere fact he wrote and published it gives it copyright protection.

The copyright extends for the life of the copyright holder, plus 70 years. The copyright does not have to be registered.

Registration is only required if the holder wants to bring suit for infringement.

The page says to contact an admin and when i press the name of an admin it wants to log me on. So in essence i cant contact an admin to say that i cant log on.

Thanks for the input. I removed it for now until there is more clarity on the topic.

This sounds like something you are familiar with? I read through the pages you linked and am confused now more so than ever as to what can and cannot be done.

Understand, this is at no cost so there is no $$$ exchanging hands and from what I can tell, the work is out of production. That may have no bearing though so I am open for any input or advice.

You should be allowed to access now. But as I mentioned above, I have removed the download until some clarity can be shared on this.
