On my RCBS Rockchucker press, the over strap disappeared during a move. I took a couple of 6p nails and pressed then up through the bottom of the primer catcher and hooked a rubber band over one, then around the back of the press and over the other one. I like it better than the plastic setup that I had been using. When the plastic strap showed up one day from who knows where, I threw it in the drawer and continue to use the more positive rubber band fix.

I have the Redding decapping set and I bent the smallest one. This afternoon I emailed Redding and a nice guy by the name of Chris said he'll have a replacement in the mail tomorrow. Now how much more could you ask for?

Thank you, Bill; I ran into one of the fired cases the other day and was wondering how it was going for you and if the rifle was still shooting to your needs,

I misplaced my little strap keeper thing. I made a replacement with two small cable ties. Cut the head off one then slide it on the other to fit, then trim the tag end.
Or boycott RCBS and go to the internet and bitch about it. Chris |

You're all upset about a little strap? And starting a thread about nasty 'ol RCBS? Just buy one fer chrissake. Or don't replace it and use a little ingenuity to make one.
