Hey guys,

I ordered one too. I can't handle the classic style so I got a Praire Hunter with a wood upgrade to try.

Yep, but, had a four hr nap during the day.
Woke up and not sleepy. Never fails huh?
Besides that, I was alone that night. Bummer

I have a CZ 527 Varmint 17 Hornet rifle which shoots small groups so I ll not be getting a Boyd stock for it . My Ruger 10-22 T 22 RF , Rem 17 Fireball, Rem 221 Fireball and Howa 1500 Varmint 223 Rem has Boyd thumbhole varmint stocks on them. The actions with about two inches of the barrel was glass bedded . The barrel channel was ok as received so no work was needed to have a free floated barrel.

Ken.
I hate sanding the barrel channel in a laminated stock especially when the forearm is so small. I sand a little, vacuum, sand a little, vacuum over and over again. But I like the Boyds laminated stock for the 527 a whole lot better than what it came with.
