I saw that, my trigger reach is a bit far, I wonder if they have a cure, if so I might be interested.

Ken:
IF you can get by with and like their styles and sizes,
you'll do fine.
I need at least 14 1/4" LOP, they refused to cut one for me that
long. Seems like they only make 13 1/2" LOP which is way too short
for my long arms.
Make sure before you send your money.

George,
They offer custom lengths of pull now and the standard is listed as 13 3/4".

Boyds say the barrel Channel can be opened up to accommodate a varmint taper profile.

Default Bord's 527 stock

I have one on order, will need to open barrel channel for varmint but that is ok. I got it from custom side, IE Nutmeg lam, 14 1/2 LOP, Rosewood Angled tip. I will let you know how it goes. this is first Boyd's on a CZ for me so I am a bit nervous, tried a Richards - non micro fit - was not happy there. With all the "fitting" I had to do I should have cut one myself and I am no wood man.

Maybe they got the message from all the bad feedback
over it. And realized how much business they were missing
out on. Good to know they're doing this.
Trouble is for me, I've got a big stack of wood for whenever
I need another stock.
Just wish Ed Shulin hadn't died, sure has made it rough trying
to find a stock turner since then.

Good thread, thanks for the replies.

Ken: Don't really know why, but, my arm's are nearly 5" longer 'wingspan' than my height. I've claimed it's not having slings on my rifles and carrying them til my knuckles drag the ground before changing hands. Had a sling once and sneaking up on a good sized bull elk up an icy trail thru light timber it snagged on a stob and busted my ass. OF course it spooked the bull. Far as I know that sling should still be out in that brush. Seems that was around 1960+- a couple yrs. I also had a lanyard swinging on my safety belt grab a pipe laying beside where I was walking that dumped me hard too. A person can't be too careful it seems. Apparently I haven't been from all the scars I have.
Glad those stocks fit you.

Thanks George. Shouldn't you be in bed now?
Ken.
