Did Chan quit making bullets?
If so, that's horrible news. I got 3 boxes left.

Default 30 grain bullets in .17 Remington

I have shot this load in two Remington 700 .17REM rifles with amazing results with temps(F) in the 80's and low 90's.

30-grain Woodchuck Den Bullets

IMR4007SSC 26.0 Grains / Primer: CCI-450 ( 3660 fps ) No signs of pressure problems. 5-shot groups in both factory barrels at 3/8" or better.

I talked to Chan yesterday. A good 45 minute call it was too and I must say he sure came across as a nice guy.

Anyway he is shipping me 2 boxes of his 30 grain .172" bullets today. I sure hope that I have as good of results as others have. I have some Big Plans for them come springtime making some orphan rock chucks. Here's hoping.

I can shoot 29 gr WCD and 29 gr bullets from Badger bob with same load with no poi difference. 26.7 H414 is mid 3900 s with 26" Lilja barrel. Bob's bullets have a slightly more open tip, and are hammers on coyote. I have not tried Chan's, mostly because I have enough bullets to shoot out a barrel plus.

Russell,

Don’t know if you are aware but Hodgdon has recalled all lots of IMR-4007 SSC due to deterioration. If you contact them they will replace it with any other IMR powder.

Default 32gr Reeds RBBT bullets

It took me a while but I found a really nice load with CFE223 and Reed 32gr rebated base boat tails. They are zipping along at 3650fps and flatten coyotes. It's a soft point bullet and holds together well. It actually had a substantial exit on one small coyote I shot through the shoulders. But it's a nice bullet that shoots well from my CZ527 Varmint.

Default 32gr Reed 17 SPRBT

Hey, which 32gr softpoint is it that you are referring to, the really blunt tipped one, or ones with a sharper metplat?
