Default Oh Happy Day!! Sportsman's Warehouse Balloon POP Pays OFF Big

Figure in these rough times We can all use a Good Luck Story

Told My Grandson he must be living right for sure. He is a fine young man with a VERY respctful attitude and a Great heart. An avid shooter and handloader. I know I know that is what all Proud PaPa's say LOL He now 23 had been planning on getting a 6PRC and new scope. Well he has been working since 16 and has always been good with his money. He now has what I call a "Big Boy Job" in maintinance at large local plant.
He told me about the local Sportsman's Warehouse Balloon Pop. First 200 Customers get a Balloon ( 2 Balloons if you are a rewards member). Once you check out and it is rang up, the balloon is popped and your discount % is revealed. It can be from 5% to 100% you never know until you check out and once popped nothing can be added.
Well He must have felt REAL lucky today, because he purchased a Christesen Arm 6.5 PRC MPR (Modern Precision Rifle) and a Nightforce SHV 5-25x56. Rang up to around $4000.00 Balloon Popped and (Happy Days) 100 % discount. So he walked out the door with BOTH for absolutley NOTHING Just a note of Irony, His Fiancee wasn't at the register whe he rang up so she had to pop her own balloon 5% discount, well still not bad she only had $63.00 worth.

**********TOLD him to be sure and get Lottery Ticket on the way home LOL**********

So now He tells me I am in need of 6.5PRC brass & dies, So I smile and post a wanted post (Got to LOVE THOSE GRANDBABIES)
Safe shooting
Doug

Speaking of Sportsman warehouse. I am glad to hear that the sale of it to Bass Pro Shops/group fell through.
Don't know how many feel, but I, for one, believe Cabela's went down hill when BPS bought them out. Hate to think that, that could have occured with SW. BIll K

You guys are lucky that didn't go through. First Cabelas and Bass Pro ran our local version of Sportsman warehouse out of business, ours was called Wholesale Sports, then they proceeded to pillage the consumer while providing lousy service and pulling way back on their warranties, satisfaction guaranteed polices etc. Most mega businesses are not in it for our benefit.

Congratulations to your grandson. Always nice to see good people getting rewarded.

Here's one, a legion here in Iowa was raffling a Barrett M82A1. 200 tickets at $100 a shot. One guy, 1 ticket and the winner walked away with a $9 o $10k rifle.
