Has anyone used this scope? I know they are discontinued, but I am in a position where I could buy one. Any likes or dislikes?

I have one on a Sako 17/222, very good optics, n plenty of lite transmission under a lite for Fox’s at nite.
These were made in Czech Rep. very well made like their Binoculars. , a lot of the new line, Optika, I believe are now made in China n they are big and chunky??? N heavy, Bean Counters are now running that company!! Jay |

Seems like the makers, or a lot of them, are all on the tactical or long range focus and not the everyday standard old hunter style.

Re: extra focus,
I have not really ever felt I needed that, although I must admit I rarely go over 10x on the dial!? I reckon it’s a good “old fashioned” Hunting scope. I think that’s why a lot of the older Model hunting scopes that come up second hand for sale are going for high prices, getting hard to find in new models, just light trim old school hunting scopes. Yes about all the scope makers are into making the tactical/long range crowd instead of Good old tried and true hunting scopes with simple duplex reticles and lighter weight scopes instead these heavy weight and bulky tubes.
