Custom H&R rifles
Ah "Now I see, said the blindman". New chamber and all with the barrel fitted into the small original barrel tube. Thank you for those David.. Very interesting and different from what I was thinking of how it was done.

Does the gun need to be a rifle or will a shotgun be safe? I know years ago shotgun firing pins were too large for rifle primers. The extractors could also be a problem, I assume. My ML was made from a New England action. I made the entire stub including scope base because I didn't want to sacrafice a barrel. If I needed a extractor, itwould have been a different story. Kenny
