I purchased a Pro-Shot Action and Chamber Cleaning Kit ..... Item # ACT/KT many years ago and it works my-t-fine on a Small Caliber Cooper . I don't know if this Kit is available these days . My Dentist is a good guy , and he slips me a bunch of swabs ( cheek spacers) whenever I need some . I cut these down a bit for the Cooper because I have Big Cheeks !

When I began benchrest shooting some years ago, a kind soul gave me a tool for wiping the action interior lugs clean of debris/grease. The guy took pity on the new shooter not knowing nutin.

It was a metal rod with plastic handle.......screwed into a simple aluminum cylinder. The aluminum cylinder was drilled crossways for a dental pack to be positioned, held in place via the threaded rod.

Works pretty good, simple to make up for whatever needs.

I really do not know why a delrin cylinder might be the real ticket, but have used my gifted aluminum version for many years in various actions. Obviously, if smallish action, the cylinder can be sized for the need of the day.

Buy the PMA tool action cleaning setup, comes with several diameter foam pads that fill any space. Cheap and effective
