Remember guns are all Female!
Work from that point in mind and you'll do ok. I've found if you have a good shooting load. Stock up on supplies. Then sort bullets to find which shoot best. And when you can, buy 'em by the 5000. The supply chain these times are going to be the hardest part. Even cheaper barrels will shoot one holers with the right load and bullets. I've got one that proved it. Repeatedly: ten shots in. .230" in 223 when new. Paid $70 for the new blank, A&B from Midway. Good luck.

I have a Savage FV12 in 223, and it will put Nosler 55g tipped and HP bullets into the same ragged hole with the same powder charge of Varget, CCI 400's and LC brass. Only difference is the bullet, same OAL as well. I've shot numerous targets with these loads, even switching/alternating between the tipped & HP rounds, can't tell the difference between the two rounds on the target.
