Borescope
Looking for recommendations. I have store credit at the LGS. Don't have any .17 caliber but that's not off of the table.

I've been using a Teslong flexible bore scope. It will tightly fit a .20 cal barrel.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsVSVeK-itw A great way to check bore condition, as well as Lugs. It has drastically changed my cleaning technique. |

X2 for the Teslong borescopes. They're very impressive for what they cost.
I have the flexible as well as the rigid rod Teslong borescope that connects to my laptop and they work extremely well. Bought both off of Amazon I think they were around 60 bucks. Once you get the mirror adjusted/focused to your liking tighten down the little set collar and you're good to go. They'll work on everything 20 caliber and larger. Since getting the rigid rod Teslong scope I use it the most but they are so economically priced you can own both and you still aren't out much cash. |

any info on borescopes for .17 caliber barrels?
Just hoping someone has a recommendation or two for our smaller barrels!

About the only one I know of that will work on the little 17's is Hawkeye. They make really good stuff but they also cost, considerably, more.

I've been looking at the Teslong borescopes myself.
Any advantages of the rigid unit as compared to the flexible design? John |

Love my Teslong. Debated for years whether or not to buy the Hawkeye but once the Teslong came out and how well it worked for my .224 and up barrels, I was sold at 1/7th the cost.

For using one inside barrels I think the rigid one is maybe a little easier to control but either works very well. |
