Yes, and thank you JD from me too.
As Ken sent it to me first and I fwd'd it to Bill.

Appreciate it Bill for your effort too.

good to hear what he had to say as I haven't
heard from him today. He gets tired out real
easy typing.

Bet he's ready to get out of that bed. At least they
got him off the gurney he was rolled in on after a
week.

Default Great News today

Ken said doc came in at 10am: "bad news, 4 day wait for an angiogram"

Wife was there. About 2:45 the crew came in with a gurney an told
him: "we're taking you for the angiogram now"
Wife left and they rolled him away.

Results: Heart and beats per minute are perfect.
clear of the kidney infection, they think was the main cause
NO blockages, or narrowing of arteries
faulty heart valve is not that bad
"you can go home Friday"
He didn't say anything about the heart attack, or damage from it

Mighty hard to beat that kind of news after ten days in hosp worried
half to death.

Expect he will be on here tomorrow sometime.

Hi everyone,
First off a big thanks for all the kind words, very much appreciated.

On Wednesday Doctor told me I’d have an Angiogram but not for at least (Standing In line) 5 days.
And there was talk of Stents, pacemakers, new valves and even mention of a bypass.
Apparently, the kidney infection had caused my heart to go into Atrial Fibrillation.

Thursday afternoon Wifey came to visit and while talking they came and said a slot had come available, so I was off for the Angiogram.

Doc who did the Angiogram was thorough and checked my med record and saw that I’d been diagnosed with an Hypotrophic Cardio Myopothy an out 10 years ago, something I’d lived with from birth. He contacted the Doc who who’d helped me 10 years previously and discussed my case.
As he started the Angiogram he told me he didn’t expect to find much wrong.
After Angio. he said no clogged Arteries and the valve was not working 100% but didn’t warrant any treatment…..you can go home in the morning!
That was some relief.
Cardiologist said my heart has taken a big wallop (Her words) and will need time to recover.
Got to go for rehab physical for 4 hours per week for min 6 months.
Lots of different pills to take each day.
Feeling pretty week and tire very easily but think I’ve been very lucky!
So, once again, thanks to all, including George, Bill, Jack and Pieter.
Thanking you, Ken.
PS. Forgot to say, the Arrhythmia caused by the kidney infection is what caused the heart attack.

Ken:
Great having you back.

Almost as good is having YOU make the report.

Just kick back and take it easy. recoveries take time.
