Valentine's rifle tradition
Last Valentine's day I bought myself a Ruger 10/22 Talo edition takedown model.
This year I ended up with a Howa Alpine 243, Kimber "longmaster classic" 223, and another Ruger 10/22. I have always wanted a Ruger 10/22 Target Laminate with the "Hammer Forged" barrel. This year I finally bought one. Man this is a sweet little rifle. Balances much better than the sporter models with a hand carry under the mag, which is how I carry. Shoots half decent as well. CCI Mini Mag 36gr HP @ 50 yards with V16 Weaver Target Dot Scope. Here is a quick fired 10 shot group (you can cover with a Nickel)............yep, this will do for hunting squirrels and plinking, just it's intended uses. |

You mean I could have anther rifle for Valentines' day? I missed out on that one. The 10-22 above is one of the nicest that I have seen, accuracy is a bonus.
