Default Sold Martini Cadet 218 Mashburn Bee project rifle

I am thinning the herd. Here is a Martini Cadet that I bought from a customer in the mid 1980's for me as a retirement project. I have been retired for 12 years and have not got to this one. Far to many other retirement projects going on.

Forestock is on back wards to keep it together.

This is a BSA Australian Cadet that I installed a 24" Donnelly Viktor barrel on. Profile is Medium sporter, muzzle is .750 diameter. It is chambered for .218 Mashburn Bee. The Customer said he would do everything else on the gun himself. One day several months later he showed up in the shop and asked if I wanted to buy it, he had other things to do.

What I think he did:

Fit the butt stock.
Bent the lever
Fit the extractor
Made a pillar escutcheon for fore arm
Tapped barrel for stock screw.

What needs done as far as I can see:

Finish and fit lever into PG of stock.
Finish buttstock and install buttplate.

Bush breech block and reduce striker.
Finish forestock. Escutcheon is off center. There is plenty of wood to recenter

Crown barrel.
Refinish metal.

$450 plus shipping to your FFL Dealer. I will not ship to C&R as this gun is not in original configuration.
