Anyone tried Norma 200 in the 17HH?
Read where it's a suitable powder for the 22H, 222 & 308. That last one concerns me since the burn rate is fast and falls in with other proven 17HH powders. I'm currently on a CFE BLK kick but always looking for something else to try.

While I don't have any direct experience with the caliber in question, Norma 200 has been quicker than the 4198's for 223 case based stuff, quicker than LT30, closing in on 4227/Win680/AA1680 territory.

I like though of something between the 4198 and the 1680
for filling the case of the 17HH. |

You said you were using CFE BLK, isn't that giving you a pretty full case?

I am pretty well sticking with CFE BLK and 1680 in the 17HH. Did play with Lil gun, but it is just too touchy, especially when it gets warmer. So will just stick with those two, both accurate and FPS good. Bill K

Both 1680 and CFE BLK are nearly the same weight to volume and still leave a little empty space at 12.4gr. Both shoot well at this charge.

FWIW, something else that might be worth trying is Shooters World SOCOM SBR. I tried it in my 22 Spitfire with 40 Varm and it worked pretty well at 15.5 grs, so it is between LG/ Alliant 300MP and AA1680. Also, the SW Blackout is about the same as 1680, but was about .5 gr faster. I have no direct knowledge of 17HH but hope this helps.

Another possibility is VV N120. Is back and available.
