Thanks Kevin, I'll probably never remember who that guy was.
I'll probably never have one of those rifles either but it's sure fun looking at yours. It's for the best really, I'd just end up scratching it and go into a deep depression for ten or twenty years. If that sounds a bit like sour grapes it's cause it is. Beautiful rifles, great history info. Thanks again for sharing with us.

Sombody ought to print those up in poster form. Have you ever heard of an O'Grier rifle. About a month ago at a public sale they advertised a 17MKIV rifle that looked identical to the pics of the ones that you posted only with a lot of gold inlay on the barrel and action. I had to work so I never got to see it close up. Maybe a typo, maybe not.
