Smile OK.....PD season is here!!!

I'm trying to get everything together for this year's PD summer.......and I'm behind schedule.....AGAIN......dammit!!!

I was wondering how everyone else is doing.......getting all their STUFF piled together.

I bought a wider brimmed hat yesterday, to help minimize the "red effect" on the ol' head.

My set-up has pretty much remained the same over the years...with a few tweeks here and there. GaryW.....what can I say....I'm a creature of habit.

Kevin

Hope this pic works.

Good luck, Kevin. Looks like I'll be "doing without" this year. My wife got told a week ago that as of June 30, the facility that she's been working at for 12 years is locking the doors. I've been able to eek out enough funds the past 4 years to get out west, but I think this is the year I just can't justify the money for the trip. Take lots of pics and shoot a couple of pds for me. That goes for all you pd killers. Have a great time and cherish the time you have to shoot out west.

I've got a couple hundred 17 Mach IV to load up and I'm done. This is my second season of loading up with a progressive press and it makes all the difference in the world! I've only got 2 more weeks and it'll be go time.

same here.... nothing loaded up... only thing is this year I have not been shooting anything other than a 1-day outing and shot up what lil I had left over from last year.... way things have been going here lately I may not even need to worry about that though but the 17-222 and 17 Jav imp & 20 BR will be the first things I’ll start on (probably the night before.... Since I have changed my ways and gone to load on demand a couple years ago or so it makes things real interesting sometimes

Jay, sounds like the P-is working out for ya. It would sure be hard for me to go back right now, what a blessing!

Thumbs up Gary....I see that...

....your keen eye picked out the indispensible Dr.P.......necture of the Gods!

But I did sneak one past ya. The green box is ID'd for "your" infamous 17-222 "G".

The little jar is Pro-Gold bolt lube.....EVERY 15 shots.

The new rifle, for this year, is a 20PPC. I may be looking for a volunteer, to touch off experimental fire forming loads of 40VMax's. Bring you own flack jacket........

I live in prairie dog country . The 17 rimfire and center fire rifles are ready to go along with a 204 Ruger. The ammo was reloaded in the winter but I,ll need more by fall. I still wont to put a Boyd thumbhole varmit stock on the Rem 700 LS 221 Fireball rifle. Last week a land owner ask me to do some population controll for him so the first nice day I,ll be out picking on the prairie dogs.
