Same show, different location: Fellow I went to Jacksonville fishing/hog hunting with sent a note tonight. "barely dampened the dust here, maybe 1/2" rain & 30knots wind"

another contact in Ferndale Md said: "it's raining pretty hard & has been awhile but, I've seen it rain harder, bet it's really coming down on the coast, surf's up too I'll bet"

Lots of rain, lots of wind, no visible damage. other than my Scorpion Habenero plant took a beating.

Kevin we were on the edge, not much of anything. Few miles made a big difference.

No Significant damage here... however my location was just on the outside of the projected highest wind forcasts.

On an almost comicle note... My deck stands over 10 feet tall and I have many bird feeders on my deck. I was going to take them all down early to keep them from becoming the neigbors property but the birds were all still feeding in 35 to 40 mph steady winds. They did not leave the feeders until dark. ???? I would have thought they would have taken cover long before dark with all the wind. Bird types included were Doves, Golden Finch, Titmice, Nuthatch and some type of small woodpecker that I haven't been able to ID yet. Comical part was watching them fight the wind to get to the feeders and then hanging on.
