Man Kevin, that is one sweet rifle with lots of personality. Man I'm gonna have a hard time sleeping now. Guess I'll have to call Doug to make sure he's alright and hasn't fallen out of his chair.

Sad thing is I know there are several more like that one sitting in your safe .

thx for the nostalgic pics KG.

Default incredible

that thing is gorgeous. the detail, the character of the wood, and the history are all amazing. you truly are blessed with an incredible collection. thanks for sharing these with us, i appreciate seeing these atleast in picture, as I'll probably never see one in person. having just one of these fine guns alone would be a prized possession.

Smile Doug....I had not...

....met Paul Marquart personally, but in years past I talked with him on the phone maybe 6-8 times. We mostly discussed the "old days", when he and Bill were barrelling actions for O'Brien.

I have a bunch of type written memos that Paul Bill and Vern sent back and forth. I'll sort through them, and maybe post a few.

DittoHead....I'm not absolutely sure of the wood type, but O'Brien advertised myrtle, walnut, maple, and mesquite.

Blake.....this Hultgren Grade Mach IV is for you......again figuratively.

Kevin
